The Healthy Schools Campaign: HSC receives hundreds of requests each week for the Quick & Easy Guide to Green Cleaning in Schools with over 50,000 distributed since it was first published in October 2006. The Guide is the first-ever multimedia how-to guide to help schools adopt cleaning programs that encourage the use of green products, equipment and practices in schools. The six-page, full-color handbook simplifies the green cleaning process, while the enclosed CD contains comprehensive information, practical advice, tools and resources to help schools take action. It also includes a purchasing guide that lists sponsors’ products. Green2B/Green2C Marketing packaged and helped edit the Guide, which was authored by green cleaning expert Steve Ashkin. We also helped HSC line up corporate sponsorships totaling more than $200,000 and coordinated marketing and outreach through cleaning industry, education opinion-leaders, nonprofits and other channels. We recently helped The Land Connection, a nonprofit farmland preservation and renewal organization, position itself in the sustainable agriculture marketplace. Green2B/Green2C Marketing led a strategic planningprocess that resulted in a more clearly defined mission, long-term goals and a sustainable three-year growth plan.

We are presently conducting market research to evaluate the effectiveness of the Guide and recommend changes for the second edition, to be published in Fall, 2008.
